The overall objective of ENID program B, promoting MSMEs, over five years in Upper Egypt is to introduce on the ground as many as 15 franchised products that can be replicated by entrepreneurs at the base of the socioeconomic pyramid. The criteria for selection of ENID products follow a demand-driven approach and incorporate all necessary elements in order to minimize the risks attached to start-up enterprises by including support for training, BDS, marketing, and access to credit.
